Land Title Register
and Title Plan |

The Land Title Register is one of the
2 main documents of Title (often called
Title Deed or Title Certificate). It contains
the Title Number, Land Registration District,
Prior Title Numbers, a description of
the size of the property and its legal
description, the type of tenure, the names
of the owners, details of mortgages and
other Limitations affecting the property
together with the references any such
Limitations are filed under. The Instrument
creating the registration is also referenced
so that a copy of the same can be obtained
if required.
The Title Plan is the other main document
of Title and shows an outline of the property
and the land in which it is situated in
relation to other nearby property. The
dimensions of the land are also normally
included.

Instruments |

Instruments are Deeds. There are 2 different
kinds of Instruments that you can obtain
from us. The first is a copy of the Instrument
from which registration of Title was completed,
i.e. the deed transferring the property
to the registered owner. The second is
a copy of one or more of the Instruments
which particularise Interests affecting
the Title, such as a Lease, a Sub-Lease,
Mortgages, Restrictive Covenants and Easements.
All Instruments contain considerable
detail. You can select the type of Instrument
you wish to order.
